An Overdo Update!

July 24, 2010 – 7:34 am

Hey Ya’ll.  It sure has been awhile and there has been much going on.  From last time, Zac and I purchased a motorhome that I took on the road with my caddie, Doc.  Well, in Iowa last month, the motorhome decided it wanted to stay there!  Stranded in Iowa with no home, Doc and I took off to Ohio in my Jeep where I played well and made the cut.  Riding this momentum, I played well in the winds of Hammond, IN to place 11th and to make both cuts in Decatur, IL and London, KY, and Bloomfield, CT. It was so nice to be close to home last week and have TONS of friends and family come and support me out on the course.  THANK YOU to all those who continuously support me :)

Zac and I just celebrated our 4th year anniversary, YAY!  We’re so happy and loving eachother more each day! ha Zac and I also have moved!  Again!  He is now a High School football coach in Texas and we are super excited for football season right around the corner.  Another new, exciting experience!  I am now in Concord, NH awaiting a late afternoon tee-time.  Things on the road are great, missing family, of course, but my game is where I want it to be.  Today, just got to go roll in some putts… Till next time :) Hopefully sooner than later!

Today’s Goal

May 14, 2010 – 2:51 pm

Hey everybody!  We got a break from the rain today but the golf course here in Leawood, Kansas was so so so wet!  My goal for today was to put in a good round before the bad weather comes back in this weekend.  The rough is not something you want to mess with here, either.  So in order to achieve my goal, I wanted to just hit fairways and greens.  It was a fun day today, missing only 1 fairway, I shot 1 under, 70, and am looking forward to another great day tomorrow.  Keep your fingers crossed for good weather. :/

Update!

May 10, 2010 – 11:35 am

Well, apparently I am not so good at keeping my blog up through a whole tournament weekend!  I guess I just stay that focused! ha

Well Brownsville, Tx was another stepping stone.  I was tied for 19th going in to the final round on Sunday and ended up shooting 3 over which finished me for 37th.  One day at time, everything is coming together.  I am now in Kansas getting ready for our next event before a nice little break.  I had the finest opportunity to take part in a Charity Pro-Am in Lawrence, KS where I was paired with the best company I could ever ask for.  I had such a great time and met some fantastic people.  Thank you to Kristen Samp and Lori Astedes for inviting me to that event as well as Warner Lewis, Wint Winter, other sponsors, and the crew at Lawrence Country Club for making it happen.  I am definitely coming back next year!

Thanks to my team!  Warner, Wint, Steve, Nick, Chris, and Mark.  I had a great time with you guys!
