Well, unfortunately today did not go so well. Mind games today. It was a day that I did not trust myself or execute my shots, which resulted with too many bogies, a 79, and missed the cut by 1 shot. It was a disappointing first tournament but there are always lessons to be learned.
Well, even with long pants on, it still felt great to get back out on the golf course in sunny Florida for my first tournament of the year. I am playing in the Women’s Florida Open this week, where weather has finally been on the up. Today was a good start even with a few missed putts, but it was a successful first day shooting a 70, two under, and will tee off tomorrow at 12:50. Wish me luck
