Off to a Good Start

Hola! from sunny and HOT Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico!  It has been a wonderful experience here so far. It is so beautiful here!  A lot of us golfers are having way too much fun mixing work with leasure, as many girls fly to the beach after a hard days work at the golf course!

Round 1 went very well.  I have been working hard on a few areas of my game and I couldn’t have asked for a better day of confidence out on the course.  I shot 3 under, 70, and am tied for 5th place.  Today is another beautiful day, I can’t wait to carry on the confidence to todays round.

I am also so happy that I have a huge support group here watching me.  It is so nice to have Aunt Ginger, Uncle Benny, Aunt Tina, Brother Chris, and Hubby Zac here cheering me on.  Zac has had quite the experience here as he signed up to caddie.  Since we didn’t have enough volunteers, we as players, were required to ride in carts, BUT caddies were not.  So just picture Zac running down the fairway after me in the cart.  Let’s just say, he slept good last night! ha  Anyway, thanks to them and all of you for supporting me from home.  :) Till later…
